Last October, My husband and I, along with our almost two year old, made a day trip to Jackson so I could photograph this gorgeous and loving couple in one of their favorite places – Grand Teton National Park! Of course, it’s quickly become one of my favorite places too! Julie and Shawn met while working for the National Park Service, so it was only fitting to include this beautiful space in their engagement photos. I was also excited to explore the park a little more and shoot in a new location – the Lucas Fabian Cabin and surrounding area.

The view of the Tetons from here is a bit different than the view at Schwabacher’s Landing, and at Moulton Barn, but it is no less stunning. I loved the openness of the landscape contrasted sharply by the tall trees, huge mountains, and beautiful cabins. There was so much variety within a short walk!

I loved working with Julie and Shawn for their engagement session. We had chatted previously in several (like 26! emails) and had a great skype date previous to meeting in person. They were so wonderful and sweet! They are getting married at Diamond Cross Ranch in June and I can’t wait to photograph their summer wedding.
