HOW WE MET
I met Edkin and Eleonore when we moved into a new church congregation. My husband and Ed clicked right away – they both have welcoming personalities and are incredibly friendly. Eleonore taught our women’s class a few time and she is such a wonderful leader! She is from France and has a beautiful accent. It makes me wish I remembered more of that high school French I learned so I could converse with her in her native language. Edkin is from Honduras and grew up with Spanish as his first language. Together, they speak English but they are both trying to learn each others native tongue so they can communicate better with their families. Learning new languages is hard and I admire the work they’ve put into their relationship with one another!
THEIR LOVE STORY
Edkin and Eleonore met each other in Switzerland through a mutual friend. They were married in France, then sealed in an LDS temple in Switzerland. They moved to Rexburg to attend school at BYU-Idaho where he graduates this December. They’ve celebrated just over two years of marriage together and have the cutest little boy. The morning of this shoot, my original couple canceled due to an emergency and I was frantic. I had 4 other people banking on me to have models for our photo retreat! I messaged these two and they were so quick to say yes! They drove over to Jackson to model for the photography retreat and were the best models. We treated them like a newly engaged couple having engagement photos taken and they laughed, goofed off, and had amazing “serious” faces. We got the most genuine and loving expressions from them and the golden hour lighting was magic. Pretty sure love has never looked so good! Curtis Canyon in Jackson didn’t disappoint and gave us some amazing views!
