Trish and Jim were married in July 2019. They shared their vows and when family and friends who had traveled far and wide for their event. They celebrated their destination wedding at Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club with the stunning Tetons in the background. Special Events Jackson Hole helped plan their event, and Jackson Hole Flower Co designed their florals.
Trish’s daughters accompanied their mother as bridesmaids, in addition to Jim’s nieces. This is one of the only weddings I’ve ever had where they chose this beautiful yellow color for the bridesmaid’s dresses. It was also a very flattering color on all of the girls which is hard to do sometimes! The soft yellow was a perfect summer color. Trish wore a strapless tea length dress with flower appliques. Not to be outdone, Jim’s suit is the first white pinstripe suit I have seen at a wedding. I thought it looked so incredible on him and his groomsmen. If you are wanting to mix up the grooms apparel on a wedding day, a pinstripe suit is an awesome way to do that.
This wedding was full of surprises, one of which was the bride arriving by horse-drawn carriage! There were very few people who knew that this was happening. It pretty much was limited to the bride, her dad, the drivers, the photographer, and DJ! She somehow managed to keep this a secret from nearly everybody else! was such a unique twist and everybody loved it.
This wedding also happens to be the one where I stepped on an ant pile during couple portraits. You can read more about that embarrassing story here. Like I said, this wedding was full of surprises!
