Yesterday it poured and poured, all day long! I was so anxious for this shoot so I booked an indoor space just in case the rain didn’t let up. Our luck held out though and the rain stopped and stayed away for our entire session! I was so happy to get to go out with these two and photograph them in this place that juxtaposes lush green with harsh rock. It’s just 15 minutes from Rexburg, Idaho and is one of my new favorite places! I have photographed in a lower area of it, but this upper spot requires a truck or lots of walking to get to so I hadn’t explored it until last night! It has a great view of the farming countryside, and so much variety.

Shelly & Connor will be celebrating 3 years of marriage in a few months, so I think we get to count this as an anniversary session! Shelly is a sonographer at the same doctor’s office I visited when I was pregnant with my son. It was so fun to chat about babies!
