The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Iris and Michael met when she took her car into an auto shop. Well, he was the mechanic! They went on a date, he made her some elk steak dinner, and the rest is history. They’ve been together for 7 years! They have two sons together and live in northern California. He came to Idaho and the Palisades on a hunting trip and she decided to bring the kids over and join him! They camped the week before and then decided to elope before they went home!
Iris’ sister made her bouquet and the boutonniere out of felt. The blue beads on the stems are from her dad’s collection and in remembrance of him. Mike’s mom made his bolo tie! She’s a bronze’s worker and I thought that was the coolest touch!
The bride shopped at a local Jackson Hole boutique and picked out a jean ensemble for each of them. I LOVED that she was in pants! You’ll see why! Because she was in jeans, we got to do a pose that most of my brides can’t do!
Their wedding day beamed bright and beautiful. With a gorgeous view of the Tetons, these two shared their vows. Hamish from Yellowstone Wedding Services performed their marriage ceremony. In it, he included a ring blessing. “May your ring always be the symbol of the circle of unbroken love. Love freely given has no beginning and no end; no giver and no receiver, for you are each the giver and the receiver…”
Happy One Year Anniversary Michael & Iris! May the sun shine as brightly today as it did a year ago for your wedding!
