Anomalie Custom Designed Star Dress and Shoes

Andrea’s custom designed wedding dress from Anomalie featured a whimsical tiered high low with dainty straps. Andrea’s dress had a gauzy star covered overlay. She incorporated stars in other aspects of her attire, including her makeup, veil, and headpiece. The bride wore bright pink velvet heels with pom poms for the ceremony. After the wedding ceremony, she changed into unicorn light up tennis shoes! Yes, UNICORN SHOES! This was a quirky wedding addition that got two huge thumbs up from me! Tennis shoes are way more comfortable than high heels for dancing and make a perfect party shoe.

Snakes in a Can Ceremony Prank

Andrea told me ahead of time that she, along with the best man would be playing a prank on David during the ceremony. When it came time for the ring exchange, the best man gave David what he thought was the ring boxes. However it was “Snakes in a Can” gag! These are obviously not real snakes, but they pop out as soon as you open the tin and scare whoever is opening it! It made for quite a lively wedding ceremony!

Romantic Fall Wedding Portraits at Moose Creek Ranch

September was surprisingly rainy and their wedding day was no exception to the weather. Luckily, they had rented beautiful teepee tents to have their wedding dinner under. The rain was non-stop nearly the entire day. However, we had a break in the rain for about five and a half minutes where I snuck them away from the party and photographed their couple portraits. Couple portraits are my favorite part of the day and if I had my way I could spend hours doing pictures of just the wedding couple! We were in a severe time crunch so I was just glad that we got 5 minutes without rain! I was honestly so in love with how many genuine and unique photos we were able to grab in such a short period of time.

I wanted to do a quick shout out about the wedding vendors who helped make this wedding day so beautiful. Chef Steve from Three Peaks Catering created an exquisite dinner menu for their guests, and baked the most delicious donuts! Other wedding vendors include Special Events Jackson Hole, Frost Salon, Beats by Capella DJ, Tipis from Andy Anderson.
