Let me tell ya, Catey and Curtis are like the most adorable couple. In. The. World. Okay, now that we all know that, let me tell you a little more about them. Catey first contacted me about their 5 year wedding anniversary trip back in February. They were planning a trip to Jackson Hole and wanted to document it with couple portraits. We hit if off right away and realized we have several similar life experiences. She owns her own media company and does videography in North Carolina!

Dress and Floral Vintage Boho Vibes

We thought that in mid September, there would for sure be more fall colors for us. In the Tetons, the leaves tend to turn earlier due to the low temperatures at the beginning of the season. This year was much different than last year though and we still had a ton of green foliage! Catey brought 3 dresses with her, but we ended up taking the most shots in the mustard dress! She purchased her yellow dress from the Rachel Parcell Collection. It perfectly complimented the fall vibes and added some vintages ones too! Something that made this session extra special was that Catey ordered a custom bouquet from Plush Floral. Joni created an arrangement that was both eclectic bohemian and elegant. The bouquet was the perfect fit for these gorgeous outdoor couple portraits! Jackson Hole never disappoints and I’m so glad these two chose me to capture their beautiful anniversary celebration!

Throwbacks to Their Wedding Day

After I delivered their portrait gallery, Catey shared a post with some of the photos. She included photos from their wedding day next to the portraits we took in Jackson Hole. Some of her favorite poses from 5 years ago are also her favorite from their session. I’m so glad I got to meet these two this fall and hope we have a chance to work together in the future!
