While visiting family over the holidays in Jackson Hole, this lovely couple chose to have an engagement session. The weekend before their engagement session, my family visited Jackson Hole with me. In the span of three days, I photographed one proposal, two engagement sessions, and two elopements! The first two days we had nearly no new snow. But the morning of Emma and John’s engagement session, the snow became coming down in earnest! These two totally rolled with it and made these snowy engagements so much fun. Winter time can be more challenging for posing, but this session is literally jam packed with posing ideas! If you like lively and playful couples, you are gonna love the photos from these two.
Emma had her hair and makeup professionally done by Tanya Crocker. Tanya has provided these services for many of my Teton brides and has always done an incredible job. I’ve heard all good things from my brides about her process and how pleased they are with the final look. I highly recommend having your hair and makeup done for your engagement shoot. You’ll look absolutely flawless for your photography session. Even with all of the snow, Emma’s hair and make up held up and looked incredible!
Emma’s family had visited a beautiful secluded forest area a few days before. We decided to do photos out in that area and it was perfect! In the winter time, this spot is harder to access but luckily we could make it in a truck! It was luckily recently plowed as well, and I’m not sure we would have gotten that lucky later in the winter season. This secluded location boasts both pines and beautiful sections of aspens. Mixed with the snow, they looked simply magical!
