Weather in Wyoming can change on a dime. If you’re planning a wedding or elopement in Jackson Hole, I highly recommend having something you can slip on to keep you warm. The closer to sunset that you’re taking photos, the cooler it gets in the mountains. No matter the season, it’s good to have with you! I’ve seen so many fashionable and warm styles in the 2020 season. I’m hoping this continues as a 2021 wedding trend. A great fur wrap or coat also creates a beautiful accessory for detail shots!
Even during the hottest summer months, clouds can roll in and temperatures can dip quickly. In late August, Jackson Hole had a storm roll in that dipped the temperatures to the low 40’s, and even colder in the higher elevations. Snow was visible on the mountains and tree tops in the hills. Luckily, this bride had planned ahead and knew that weather could change unexpectedly so they were well prepared!
This season, several of my brides had fur wraps for part of their photos! These wraps offer a flattering alternative to the coats, while still offering warmth. Fall in Jackson Hole can change dramatically from moment to moment! Additionally, soft pastel and netural colors are a great way to add a pop of color!
One of the warmest winter trends I’ve seen is fur coats and colorful jackets. These were both incredible warm options for my winter brides this year! The real fur coats are incredible cozy and keep the person wearing them so nice and warm! The wraps also create a color contrast from the white snow and white dress. Adding in the fine texture brings a lot of interest to photos as well!
