Trey and Andrea met at a wedding and the rest is history! They both grew up in different parts of Washington state, and Trey actually grew up in south western Washington like I did! These two celebrated their own wedding in Jackson Hole two years ago. They decided to revisit Jackson Hole for their babymoon! They spent several days exploring Jackson Hole and went snowshoeing the day before our photoshoot. Snowshoeing is my favorite discovery this year and has been so fun to participate in. There are a bunch of trails to choose from in the Jackson Hole area.
In fact, the location we used for their photos is one of my favorite places during the winter for photoshoots. Because it’s used for XC skiing, backcountry skiing, and snowshoeing, the trail areas get packed down and you are able to walk on them with regular boots without post-holing a lot. I usually wear my giant snow pants and tall boots to winter sessions. This allows me to wade out into the deep snow while my clients stay on the path if we need to for the angle I want! During their session, I went off path at one point and sunk all the way up to my hips. It took a lot of wiggling to get myself out of that one!
Kelly Rene did Andrea’s bridal beauty on her wedding day. When Andrea asked for a photographer recommendation for their babymoon photos, she recommended me to them. I’m so glad she did! The best compliment is a referral and I’m always so honored to be recommended to my clients’ friends and family, and my preferred wedding vendor’s clients! If you are looking for a talented bridal beauty artist, check out Kelly’s work on our Janelle & Co brides Julie, Allie, and Brittany!
