The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Last August, Plush Floral put on a small styled shoot with some flowers left over from a wedding. First of all, everything that Joni touches turns to gold! Such was the case with this gorgeous sunset style elopement that took place at the Sand Dunes in Rexburg, Idaho. This blog post has all the sandy, beachy, desert elopement inspiration! We ran a little short on time because a storm was rolling in and made sunset earlier than it should have been. But that meant we got more golden hour time with incredible lighting. Our two models were perfect for this sand dunes elopement! They brought an amazing energy with them!
I love this wedding inspiration for an intimate elopement. The colors were stunning. I love these soft and vibrant pinks with deeper reds. The mixture of sagebrush greens and traditional floral greens was also very stunning. My favorite element of this styled shoot in the dunes was the floral arch. The rustic wood arch was draped in hundreds of flowers and greenery pieces. Joni’s intern, Marissa with Poppy and Fig Floral, was also at the styled elopement shoot. With help from her intern, Joni spent over two hours putting the final touches on the ceremony arch.
A few other vendors also collaborated on this photoshoot! Collaborative styled photoshoots are a great way to meet other local vendors and see their work. I’ve made a lot of good friends and networked with other professionals this way. It benefits our clients as well, as we are able to refer trusted artists to them. Emmy and Nikki are both in the bridal beauty industry and collaborated with Joni on this styled dunes elopement. Emmy Kidd with Hair N Lashes by Em did Ashlyn’s bridal look. The makeup was done by Nikki Stowell! They both did such a beautiful job on this classy and natural wedding day beauty! The gorgeous dark wood chairs were provided in collaboration by The Avenues Wedding and Event Center. I loved coming together with all of these incredible wedding vendors in East Idaho. We made some gorgeous sunset magic among the sand dunes!
