Meeting Melissa and Robert was such a joy! Melissa hired me to document their 15th wedding anniversary in the Tetons. Their whole relationship is what she would call a little bit ‘unconventional’, but I can tell that they make a great pair. These two were so fun and outgoing and don’t take themselves too seriously. Melissa didn’t want their photo session to be too mushy or romantic and instead wanted to focus on the fun that they have together. I just let them showcase their personalities and they allowed me to capture some serious and romantic ones as well.
Despite not wanting things to be too mushy for their anniversary pictures, Melissa picked a sexy red dress. She topped off her look with a stylish hat and looked so dang good. Robert was also dressed up in slacks and a button-up shirt and brought some retro sunglasses. I am usually a big fan of neutral colors and really recommend those more subdued colors for photo sessions. But in this case, I’m so glad they had more colorful outfits. Melissa absolutely rocked her red dress and I love how red looks against the Tetons. The Teton mountains at golden hour become a really beautiful shade of blue. So, the pop of her red dress and lipstick allowed her to stand out vibrantly from the background!
I love when clients create favorite lists in their galleries so I can see which ones they love the most. It’s even better when client’s place a print order directly from my store! It’s so fun to see which photos they share with their friends and family and print to display in their own homes. Some of their favorite photos were some of mine as well! Can you guess which photos they printed for gifts and displaying?
