The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Planning a wedding can be so stressful, and everything begins to add up and it can be so overwhelming. Let’s make sure your engagement session is full of laugh and fun, with some outfits that make you both look and feel great. I’ve gathered some outfit ideas for engagements in the Tetons making this part a breeze!
First, let’s start with the most important outfit first, start with what you want to wear! Making sure you feel confident and comfortable is the key to success! Finding something for your partner will be so much easier once you’ve chosen what makes you feel beautiful, and confident going into your engagements in the Tetons!
Coordinating outfits are always a hit, no matter the location. I love having my couples wear complementary colors, not necessarily matching colors. We want to have contrast in your pictures, but wearing complementary colors is a great way to incorporate wedding colors, or even let your location speak for the pictures. Keeping the outfit ideas for engagements simple is a great way to ensure your relationship and location are the main event. Some ideas for coordinating colors I love are, neutrals, olive and cream, navy and rust, or even a light pink and olive.
Consider dressing up for your engagements in the Tetons! When my couples dress up during their session, it’s always fun to capture movement from the dress, and get detail shots of the ring resting on the dress coat. Even if you bring along a second outfit to your session for some variety, I always suggest a casual option and a dressy option, that way you have tons of choices! Looking to keep it chic and classic? Stick with classic combinations like black and white, or red and black. The stark contrast will look incredible during your engagements in the Tetons.
Another great option for your engagements in the Tetons is coordinating your outfits with the season. You wouldn’t want to wear a flannel in the summer, or shorts in the winter. Keep in mind the time of year and the colors that will shine during those particular seasons. According to theknot.com, if the leaves are changing colors, make sure to wear rich colors, like mustard, navy, burgundy, etc. Not only will it complement the season, but it will look make your photos look lush and classic.
