Marissa and Sam were married at the LaBelle Lake Wedding Venue in Rigby, Idaho! Let me tell you, LaBelle Lake is an absolutely stunning venue for Idaho weddings. The venue is a family-owned/operated property, which goes to show the amount of love and hard work that goes into everything they do. The cabin has been in the family for generations and still hosts their large group gatherings, but now has another reason to be used- weddings!

Labelle Lake Fall Outdoor Wedding

This was my first wedding at LaBelle Lake, and I sincerely hope that it is not my last. It was the perfect fall day, which was a blessing because the weather can be kind of questionable in October. Marissa and Sam got to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. When they walked down the aisle after being pronounced husband and wife, their guests threw biodegradable confetti. It was honestly so magical and looked amazing (if you’ve seen my homepage, it is one of my top photos). I could not have imagined a more romantic fall wedding!

Lively Dance Party with DJ Chris

Everything about Marissa and Sam’s wedding was so fun. They were a destination couple, celebrating with close friends and family. The party was lively! Chris Davis from Wildfire Entertainment was their DJ and he really knows how to get a party going. He knows how to get everybody involved. For example, Chris played games with Marissa and Sam’s guests- the tables that answered Chris’s questions correctly got to eat before the others. (To be honest, receptions are one of my least favorite things to photograph because half the time it seems as if nobody gets on the dance floor. Luckily, Marissa and Sam’s wedding was not one of those occasions!) Everybody was dancing and having a great time because Chris has unique ways of getting people on the dance floor!

One side note- I am not a cake lover (gasp!), but I can definitely appreciate a piece of pie. Marissa and Sam were not cake lovers either! They chose to have a pie bar with several kinds of yummy flavors. (I definitely approved!)
