Nolan contacted me just days before his proposal at Inspiration Point. He had a photographer lined up previously, but the plans fell through. He was worried about finding someone on such notice, but luckily we were able to make plans and fit it in!
With a big trip planned with family, he know the Tetons would be the perfect setting for his proposal to Elizabeth. He knew her dream proposal was for it to happen in nature, surrounded by family, and for a photographer to capture it. Well, Nolan delivered on that dream perfectly!
My family and I hiked up to Inspiration Point, along Jenny Lake. The hike is not very long, only about 3 miles one way but it took us longer than expected. Luckily we had left plenty early so that we could somewhat take our time along the trail. We made it up the mountain about 30 minutes before Nolan + Elizabeth, and I was able to spend time scoping out the location. Nolan’s sister came up the trail ahead of them and we were able to make contact and pick out a spot for the family to hang out and witness the proposal at Inspiration Point.
When Nolan and Elizabeth arrived, he was so hot because he was wearing a puffer vest to hide the ring box! He brought her out to the edge of the viewing area, got down on one knee and surprised the heck outta her! This was my first proposal at Inspiration Point and I am so glad to add it to my list of amazing locations. After the proposal, we took more photos at Inspiration Point, then headed down the trail to hidden Falls, where these two enjoyed cooling down by the water. Afterwards, we all rode back to the visitor center on the Jenny Lake boat shuttle.
Nolan and Elizabeth started off their Teton trip surrounded by family and experienced the dream proposal of a lifetime!
