Angel and Coy made the trip from Texas to Grand Teton National Park to celebrate a kid free anniversary! This year they celebrated 15 years of being together and 12 years of marriage. This was their first trip to the Tetons and Yellowstone, so they really made the most of it! They went on a hot air balloon ride, white water rafting, spent the day in Yellowstone seeing the waterfalls and wildlife. And then ended with Schwabacher’s Landing anniversary photos.
These two were a lot of fun to work with. Even though Coy was more hesitant to do very many photos, we really wanted to make sure we had a variety for them to choose from. Angel’s only request was to make sure that we got a nice wide horizontal photo for their wall. And I think we nailed it on the head! Angel also brought a beautiful hat as an accessory to include in some of the photos. They also brought along a fun momento from their trip, a souvenir hat from Yellowstone, that we included in a few photos.
These two let me take the reins on what to do and what poses would look the best. I love that they brought a few requests up, we rolled with it, and it was great! As summer turns into fall the nights get shorter and our golden hour time goes from a good 1 hour and 15 minutes or an hour to only about 45 minutes of the best lighting. So we work quickly and get the photos that we need and everybody walks away happy! If you’re considering a vacation to the Tetons, consider adding a photoshoot at Schwabacher’s Landing to mark the occasion! It’s the perfect location for families, bridals, portraits, and anniversary photos.
