This Valentine’s Day, we decided to make it a little extra special! I booked a last minute proposal in Teton Village for the night of Valentine’s Day. I already had a vow renewal the next afternoon, so it seemed more fun to make it an overnighter. My wonderful mother in law watched our little one, and we headed out on a couples only mini trip! I found an opening at the amazing Bentwood Inn in Wilson, WY. This location has been on my “bucket list” of places to stay, and I’m so happy we decided to make it happen!

Bentwood Inn

The Bentwood Inn is a well appointed, rustic inn with an incredible atmosphere. It’s the cutest and cozy cabin right off the main road to Teton Village. Despite it’s location to traffic, we didn’t hear any during our stay. Even better, the rooms are spread apart which means we didn’t hear our neighbors at all during our stay. It sure beats our recent stays at the local motels. As a smaller establishment, it’s the ideal Bed & Breakfast. When we arrived, the host checking us in was very informational and friendly. We got a brief tour of the premises, and were shown to our beautiful room. In the lobby, there was a fire roaring in the fireplace, mason jars of chilled water, and yummy cookies waiting for us.  My husband and I decided to work on our murder mystery boxes, and found the best nook for it.

The next morning, we were pleasantly surprised by the unique dining experience. The innkeepers personally served us a delicious cranberry scone and chia seed pudding. Next, they brought out pork sausage and an egg scramble. It was such fantastic service and food. My only regret is that I’m not a huge morning person, or breakfast person and couldn’t eat as much as I would have liked to!
