This Jackson Hole Winter Proposal was a last minute booking. He had planned an elaborate proposal for March, but after Jeff picked up the ring for Kelsey, he knew he couldn’t wait to propose! They had a trip with friends planned for Jackson Hole, so we made it happen. Jeff was referred to me by Jaycee Photography, so shout out to her for connecting us!
If you haven’t been to Jackson Hole in the winter, the days can be oh so cold. This February has actually been more on the mild spectrum, and we were lucky to have a beautiful day for the proposal. The couple is from the southeast though, so it was a big temperature change for them. If you’re planning a winter proposal, make sure to be bundled up and stay as warm as you can!
I try to be as inconspicuous as I can before a proposal happens, but sometimes that is pretty tricky! For this proposal, I had my friend Amanda with me. We took some photos of her and as the couple came up with their friends, I called Amanda over to come “check out what I’ve gotten so far”. It was the perfect exchange! As Jeff put Kelsey into the spot he wanted to propose, their friends recorded it on their cell phones. He got down on one knee and had her turn around. It was a total surprise to her that it happened on this trip!
I love being a part of such a special moment and memory for couples. If you’re planning a Jackson Hole Winter Proposal, let’s connect and chat all the details! You might not remember the eloquent speech you had planned, but you’ll love having all the photos to remember it by!
