What do you get when you mix snowy mountains and high school sweethearts? The making of a great proposal story! Sean knew that Jackson Hole was the right place for his marriage proposal to happen, and he was right!

Jackson Winter Proposal

I will never forget this proposal. It was dang cold, and a bit windy but that’s not what makes it memorable. Aimee’s reaction to Sean’s proposal was absolutely perfect. Sean asked my husband to “take a picture on his phone” for them, and while that was happening, he got down on one knee and pulled out a gorgeous ring! To say that Aimee was surprised and completely over the moon with excitement is an understatement!

Wildlife Sightings

Right after their Jackson winter proposal, a fox popped right out of the woods and wandered past us. I think that they approved of the proposal whole-heartedly 😉 When the initial shock wore off just a bit and she’d had time to soak it in, we took some additional engagement photos in the snow. I asked her what her version of their love story was, and I’m definitely a sucker for the high school sweetheart romances! They’ve been together for 10 years and now get to change their titles to fiance/fiancee!

Winter Access for Photo Locations

The winter locations can be pretty limited if you’re not on skis. Luckily, this section of Grand Teton National Park is still open in the Winter and has a fantastic view! The snow is pretty packed from all of the xc-skiers, so it makes it ideal for moments like this to happen, and be documented! It’s my favorite place in the Tetons during the winter.
