The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
More and more couples are choosing to reaffirm their wedding vows in a new ceremony. Whether it’s after a few years of marriage, or several decades, the trend is on the up and up. That’s why this Wedding Tree Vow Renewal is so special to me. Gina and Mike came together to share their love for each other in a new ceremony, set against the backdrop of the Tetons. I literally don’t think you could pick a more beautiful place than the Grand Tetons, but I know I’m biased.
The Wedding Tree has a story behind it’s name – back when it had all of its limbs and branches, the two trees came together to form almost a heart. And so it became the Wedding Tree. Isn’t this the perfect spot to share vows with each other again? It’s secluded and intimate, away from the eyes of hundreds of tourists.
Because I already had travel plans and other commitments for their Wedding Tree Vow Renewal, my friend and associate was able to step in to document their special day. The day was not without it’s weather concerns, but together they were able to make magic happen! I’m so grateful to have people I can trust with such a big responsibility.
After their heartfelt Wedding Tree vow renewal, the group headed to Mormon Row for some additional couple portraits. I always recommend a 2 hour minimum block of time for vow renewals and small elopements. It gives the couple enough time for the ceremony, portraits, and usually an additional photography location. This lends to their gallery being more diverse as well. You’re celebrating in the Tetons, let’s take advantage of your time here!
