Take a peek at Allison & Garrett’s Spring Wedding Tree Ceremony. With bold colors and stunning views, they had the wedding day of their dreams. It all started in a whirlwind of getting ready, first looks, and time with friends.
The wedding couple traveled from Alabama with their friends to Jackson, Wyoming. They had planned the trip together and decided it would be a wonderful spot to say their “I Do’s”. Is there a better way to travel and celebrate? Allison’s friend Juliana helped with hair and makeup while their daughters played together.
Juliana’s husband was their officiant and did a wonderful job on the ceremony. They had their legal paperwork done before coming, but still wanted to have a wedding day with some of the traditional elements. Together with their daughter, they made vows to one another under the shade of The Wedding Tree in Kelly, Wyoming. I love spring time in the Tetons, everything is green and new. Trees begin to blossom, flowers bloom.
It’s a wonderful time of the year to show the symbolism of a new marriage as well. Of course, there are hardships in every relationship. Despite that, I think that a couple who loves each other and is willing to work hard together will blossom in their marriage. They will grow in joy and love and learn how to manage the frosty days.
After their ceremony and family portraits at the Wedding Tree, we headed down the road about 5 minutes. There is a beautiful lake that formed from a huge slide many many years ago. It’s aptly named Slide Lake, as there are remnants of the 1925 slide all down the river. Huge Boulders riddle the canyon for over a mile. Now, a 5 mile long lake has formed from the blockage. Slide Lake is breathtaking, even without the views of the Tetons.
