Bonnie and Wyatt chose to have Grand Teton Wedding Portraits taken last Spring. They were married in a small ceremony in Idaho. However, they love the Tetons and knew they wanted to document this momentous occasion with Jackson Hole wedding portraits. We were able to go to several locations in our time together, which I highly recommend. If you’re going to have portraits taken in a national park, take advantage of your time!
Our first location is one of my favorite little nooks to take couples. These two have a really western style and I knew the buckrail fence would compliment them. The bride had a fitted wedding dress with a gathered skit and long train. She had the lace sleeves added on to the original dress to give it more of that western wedding flair. Her bouquet was made of dried and fresh flowers, pine, pompas grass, and feathers. It was such a beautiful wild mix with touches of elegance.
Next, we went to one of my favorite lakes in the Tetons. It’s easy to access in the evening and is a quiet piece of paradise. Unfortunately, it also gets mosquitos in the spring due to the wet areas. We used our time quickly here to escape the bugs. The water was very still and reflected the mountains beautifully. Our last location is one of the best places for portraits in the spring. The snow on the mountain peaks is stunning in the spring and made for a very dramatic backdrop for our wedding couple.
When you’re considering what places you want to use for Grand Teton Wedding Portraits, you need to think about the time of year and time of day that you will be taking photos. I am more than happy to help you figure out what will work best for your event! Contact us today for your elopement and wedding photography needs.
