Taylor & Kyle’s Mormon Row Spring Wedding had dreamy light and lush greens. It was not met without a few mishaps of the day, but ended with all goodness. I am so thankful for my associate, McKenzie, who photographed this wedding for me. Due to family commitments, I wasn’t available for their wedding day. Knowing this, the wedding couple chose to book with my associate and I did all the communication and editing. This isn’t the first time McKenzie has done this for me! She’s been a wonderful assistant photographer on many many weddings. And has even photographed other events for me, like Gina & Mike’s vow renewal. If I’m not personally available for your wedding day, I try to offer McKenzie’s photography skills for your big day!
After a late start due to a forgotten bouquet, it decided to rain as well. After waiting out some of the showers, they had a beautiful and intimate ceremony at Mormon Row. Outdoor weddings are always at risk of weather affecting the outcome, but this overcast light is by far my favorite. It makes all of the colors pop, and give smore even skin tones than bright sun. And they were so lucky to have the mountain peaks showing for their Mormon Row Spring wedding ceremony.
The rain stayed away for most of the ceremony and family portraits, but showers returned for some of their portraits. They braved the weather though and came away with gorgeous rainy Schwabacher’s Landing portraits. If you’re looking for dreamy, romantic wedding photography, look no further!
