Leanna & Riley’s Grand Teton Summer Elopement was a blast all day long. They chose to have their legal ceremony privately in their hotel room. Over zoom, they tied the knot with a few family members present. Then we met up in the national park for photos!

Grand Teton Summer Elopement

We started off their Jackson Hole wedding photography at Schwabacher’s Landing. The couple had quite the surprise here as they got photobombed by a moose! We of course had to get a few photos with the moose in the background for them. I have couples tell me all the time that seeing wildlife on their wedding day would be a dream come true. It doesn’t happen often, but I had multiple couples this year with moose in a few of their photos!

Blacktail Butte has a small pullout area with a vast display of wildflowers. In late June, the flowers are in full blooms and simply magnificent! While this location wasn’t on our original itinerary, we had to make a quick stop and capture the bride and groom among all the wildflower glory.

Intimate Wedding Picnic

As part of their Grand Teton summer elopement, the wedding couple wanted to have a little picnic. After they read vows to one another under the peaks of the Tetons, relaxed on a picnic blanket and enjoyed snacks together. Then, they celebrated with a champagne spray and enjoyed the drink straight from the bottle.

Jenny Lake Canoes

The wedding couple originally planned to rent canoes at Jenny Lake. Unfortunately, it was just a little too early in the season for them to rent out the boats. The water temperature has to meet certain criteria for the company’s liability. They were very gracious and allowed the bride and groom to hop in a a canoe, but it had to stay tied to the dock. We had to get a bit creative, but it was still fun to have this as part of their day!
