Erin & Michael had a beautiful morning ceremony in the Grand Teton mountains. After getting ready at their Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis cabin rental, Erin had a first look with her parents and brother. Then, they headed to the park for their Schwabacher’s Landing Micro-Wedding ceremony. The bride was walked up the aisle by her mom and dad. This ceremony took place before they changed the permit process and specified where the ceremony location at Schwabacher’s is. However, it was so perfect to have the benches for older guests to sit on, and to not have shadows from the trees that are further down.

Mountain Morning Wedding Ceremony

Morning wedding ceremonies are sometimes pretty tricky when we’re planning to use multiple locations. Lighting changes quickly, and the sun is in your eyes in order to have the Tetons behind you. The park can also be very busy depending on the time of year that you choose to hold your wedding. This wedding took place on October 1 and while there was some traffic from park visitors, all were respectful. There are some great benefits to a morning ceremony. Erin and Michael chose to have a morning ceremony so that they could go on their first hike together as a married couple in the afternoon! Afterwards, they got back together with their guests and enjoyed the evening celebrating.

Schwabacher’s Landing Micro-Wedding

If you’re considering a Schwabacher’s Landing Micro-Wedding, you’ll want to get your permit as soon as the schedule opens for the year. This year, they filled in just weeks! Luckily, this location is still available for wedding portraits of the couple even if you can’t get a ceremony permit at this location. It is one of my favorite places to take photos, and in the fall the colors are magnificent!
