String Lake Anniversary Photos

String Lake is a location that gets very crowded in the summer time during the day. It’s one of our favorite swimming holes in the mountains, and we like to take our paddleboards when we can. When we come camping in the Tetons we always spend a day here on the lake. In the evenings, many of the tourists leave and it is one of the most serene and quiet places you can experience just 200 feet from the parking lot.

Peyton and Greg were flexible and willing to play timing by ear a bit. We moved their session up about 30 minutes which ended up being perfect. These two wanted more input on posing and classic photos. I was more than happy to help them so we could get photos they’d love. Over the years, I’ve learned that most of my couples prefer the more traditional poses with some fun and romance sprinkled in. If you’re ever worried about being in front of the camera, we will work to make you comfortable and make sure you know what you’re doing.
