If you’re planning a trip to the Tetons, think about taking Jenny Lake Family Photos! In the early summer this location is harder to access, but in the late summer and fall the water line lowers. The Carr family visited the Tetons in early June, so we were more limited in the location choices around Jenny Lake that we could use. But, there are so many pretty places all over that you can’t go wrong with a photoshoot in the mountains.

It isn’t every day that you have the opportunity to take family photos for another photographer. The mom of the family is a fellow photographer, and wanted to make sure she documented their trip to Wyoming. Rather than do it herself with a tripod, she opted to hire me as her Jackson Hole Family Photographer. They had wonderful outfits that included textures, patterns, solids, and a pop of color. If you’re not sure what to wear for your family photos, choose the person who is hardest to dress or will be the most particular about how they look. This is usually the mom, so I recommend dressing yourself first if that’s you.
