This beautiful Jenny Lake Family Session was one I’ll remember! Do you ever meet people and feel like you should already know them somehow? Well, Jerry reminded me so much of my sister’s father in law it was kind of uncanny! They joked the same way, shared some similar facial features and speech intonation. Anyways, enough about that! I want to share some of their family photos because it was such a joy to work with them all.

Jenny Lake Family Session

Jenny Lake can be a tricky location to use early in the summer because the snow melting in the mountains causes lots of run off. This means that the water level on the lake gets so high that much of the shoreline disappears for part of May and June. Luckily there are still lots of trails surrounding the lake that offer views of the mountains and the lake. And they still make for great photos. While we are a little more limited with our locations, you shouldn’t let that stop you from doing your photos at Jenny Lake if that’s a top choice for you.
