Ross and Loren got engaged at the end of February in this Downtown Jackson Hole Proposal! A month before their trip, Ross contacted me about being their proposal photographer. They’ve been coming to Wyoming for years together to ski and he knew this was where he wanted to pop the question.
Knowing that he really wanted to keep it a secret, we discussed a few different options. He consulted with her best friends what she might like the best. We thought about a picnic in the park, but came back to his original idea of keeping it in town. He was worried she would get too suspicious of any other ideas. As it was, he still had to coax her out of a shop or two while they walked along the town square!
With plans in mind, selfie saved to my phone, and camera ready, we wandered town square until it was finally meet up time! When Ross and Loren got close to the Elk Antler Arches, he asked my husband to take a quick photo on his phone. As my husband hit “record”, Ross gently grabbed Loren to get her attention and started asking the age old question. Her excitement was contagious! These two were so sweet and fun and it was an honor to be their proposal photographer. We made sure to grab some photos in front of the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar with it’s neon lights.
