I’m so excited to share Carissa & Josh’s fall couple photography. They chose to have their engagement photos taken in the beautiful fields surrounding Mormon Row. This is a stunning location, especially in September and October. The grasses have turned golden brown and bring all the fall vibes to pictures. We took these at the end of September 2023 and this year I will be their Idaho Falls Wedding Photographer as they tie the knot! I feel so lucky!

Fall Couple Photography

Carissa found this engagement session on my website and knew that this was the spot she wanted her own engagements taken. They wanted to keep things simple so they did a mini session with one location. The evening was sunny and golden, truly an epic fall day! The sun made everything glow in all the right ways. After the sun slipped behind the mountains, the outline became more prominent and the lighting softened. This engaged couple got the best of both worlds with lighting!

Posing Ideas for Jackson Hole Engagements

As part of their fall couple photography session, they were willing to lay in the grass and that made my day! I never want people to do things they aren’t comfortable with. So it’s fun to have a couple that is willing to try out something new, and has an outfit that works for it! It was even better when a good chunk of those poses ended up on their favorites list!
