Are you looking for a Jackson Hole Engagement Photographer? David and Kennedy had one of my favorite engagement sessions all season long – yours could be next! Each is unique and beautiful in their own ways and I can’t wait to chat with you about making your engagement photo dreams come true.
David and Kennedy had one of the most emotional and happy proposals last year! They got engaged in September at Schwabacher Landing. I loved getting to document this special moment for them. They are travel bloggers and were camping out at Shadow mountain campground in the national Forest during their trip.
The night of the proposal, they got all dressed up before dinner and stopped at Schwabacher Landing to take a few photos on their tripod and camera. Unknown to Kennedy, David actually set their camera to record so that they could get video and photo coverage of their proposal!
Schwabacher Landing is highly popular in the fall, and last season was no different. I had several proposals, engagement sessions, and wedding pictures at Schwabacher Landing in September and October. My favorite things about this location in the fall is the golden leaves and the golden light. Over the course of the year, the sun sets in slightly different areas and different times as the seasons change.
Because of this, in the fall there is a lot more golden hour available where the light is more to the side of the mountains rather than right behind. This means that golden hour lasts longer and once the sun dips behind the mountains, it’s a quick blue hour. Mixed with the changing colors of the leaves, this makes for a very vibrant fall photoshoot.
September dates fill quickly, reach out today if you’re considering a fall elopement, wedding, or engagement shoot. I can’t wait to hear from you!
