Have you thought about proposing at the Elk Antler arches in downtown Jackson Hole? This location is ideal for couples who are staying near downtown and may not have a car to explore further away in the mountains. The Elk Antler arches are an iconic staple of the town and have four different arches pointing in various directions. While it may not be the most private of proposal locations, it is one that is recognizable and pretty rad.
When Connor and I were planning his proposal to Emily, they originally were not going to have any extra transportation options. Therefore we needed to make sure we stayed close to town so the first location for the proposal would be walkable. They did end up having a vehicle, but still needed to stay close to town for their dinner reservations.
So after the proposal, we drove just a few minutes up to the hiking trailhead at Cache Creek Trailhead. There is not a view of the Tetons here either, but it is one of my favorite locations close to town that has some beautiful hills and trees. The landscape makes it a good option for days where the mountains might not be very visible anyways. This location is also a good option for couples staying in town and wanting to do a first look before heading out to Grand Teton National Park.
This location was awesome for them because it was such a smoky day that the mountains were very hazy. So having the mountains closer and the pops of green was a good mix up in the backdrop!
