When Casey and Taylor booked me for their 2020 wedding, we were all excited to capture their big day in Grand Teton National Park. Unfortunately, the Covid pandemic had other plans. Their wedding permit in GTNP was cancelled. They ended up getting married in their home state, and while I was sad to miss their celebration, I understood completely. Fast forward five years, and I was absolutely thrilled when they reached out asking me to create Jackson Hole couples photography for a special anniversary session. They were finally coming to the Tetons!

Jackson Hole Couples Photography at Mormon Row

We started our session at the iconic Mormon Row during golden hour. The spring aspen trees provided a stunning backdrop as we captured intimate portraits in the warm, glowing light. Casey wore a long sleeveless blue dress. Taylor complemented her perfectly in jeans and a blue button-up shirt. Their simple blue-toned outfits allowed the dramatic Teton backdrop to shine.

The historic barn area offered endless possibilities. We moved through the sagebrush fields, capturing the classic Wyoming scene: weathered barn, majestic mountains, and endless sky. The north barn area features beautiful fencing and corrals. This gave us opportunities to explore new angles and create diverse compositions in the open fields.

Schwabacher Landing Magic

After Mormon Row, we headed to Schwabacher Landing for a complete outfit change. Both Casey and Taylor switched to coordinating green attire. She wore a long green sleeveless dress and he donned a green dress polo. The timing was perfect. With the sun settling behind the mountains, we were blessed with incredibly creamy, soft light that made their portraits absolutely magical.

This Jackson Hole couples photography session was the perfect way to finally celebrate their love in the location they had originally dreamed of. Five years of marriage brought an ease and joy to their photos that made every moment a pleasure to capture.
