When Julia and Ronak chose to elope at the iconic Wedding Tree in June, they wanted a mountain elopement photographer to capture every intimate moment of their special day. My associate photographer McKenzie beautifully documented their celebration while I was away on a family trip celebrating my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.

A Stunning Wildflower Ceremony at The Wedding Tree

The timing couldn’t have been more perfect. The wildflowers were in full bloom, creating a vibrant carpet of color around the ceremony site. With wedding officiant Hamish Tear guiding the ceremony, Julia and Ronak exchanged personal vows that were incredibly touching and authentic. They exchanged wedding rings and sealed their commitment with a kiss with the majestic Tetons towering in the background, their peaks still dusted with snow.

Julia carried a gorgeous bouquet featuring light pinks, creams, and blues that complemented the natural wildflower landscape perfectly. The couple took portraits throughout the area, walking among the wildflowers and sitting under the tree branches, soaking in the magic of their mountain wedding.

Schwabacher Landing and Sweet Traditions

Their second location was the picturesque Schwabacher Landing, where Julia surprised Ronak with a touching tribute to their daily routine. She brought along coffee mugs and croissants—one of their favorite morning rituals.

Her adorable pink “Fur Mama” mug and his purple “Just One More Chapter” mug added personal touches to their celebration. The couple also enjoyed a champagne spray and toast with a special monogrammed champagne bottle, creating joyful, celebratory images.

Capturing the Final Moments

To wrap up the afternoon, they raced off for a handful of stunning images at one of the scenic turnouts along the highway, ensuring every moment of their elopement was preserved.
