Megan and Ryan shared a Jackson Hole Intimate Wedding Ceremony at Wedding Tree in October 2022. They had the best October weather for their event. The couple chose to have a first look at the location where they were getting ready. The couple and their families had rented a big house to share. Megan had her hair and makeup done by Beauty by Autym. After all the pre-wedding getting ready photos, Megan had a first look with both her dad and with Ryan.
Then we headed to Schwabacher’s Landing for couple portraits before their ceremony. We had discussed multiple areas for the ceremony, but their guest list was a bit too large for a permit at Schwabacher’s Landing in Grand Teton National Park. They still loved the look of the area though, so it was perfect for wedding portraits before the ceremony. Currently, couples only need a permit for wedding ceremonies and not for portraits which makes taking photos in multiple locations an option.
During the wedding ceremony at Wedding Tree, they had poems read by family members. Then we had an extensive family photo list to complete, but they breezed through it. All the guests had been told they would be needed and stuck around, so we didn’t have to go chase anyone down.
At the end of the evening, they had a dinner and reception at the National Museum of Wildlife Art, with dinner catered by Palate. They wanted some photos of them with the Sleeping Indian mountain range in the background. The sunset was beautiful and the museum grounds were very unique.
If you’re considering a Jackson Hole intimate wedding, there are various venues like the Museum of Wildlife Art that make for a great option. Contact me today about photographing your Teton wedding.
