Last fall, Chris and Sarah had the prettiest Schwabacher Landing Engagement Photos. Chris wanted no ordinary proposal for his beloved. But when their plans for a Tokyo trip fell through, he knew he needed to come up with another option. Since they both love to travel, he wanted to incorporate the proposal into an amazing trip. With their schedules and everything else they could only get away for the weekend, but they made the most of their time in the Tetons together!
While so many ideas were tossed around between a helicopter tour and horseback riding and other ideas, things just didn’t quite fall into place for any of those options to happen. So we went to a different plant and chose one of the most picturesque places in the Tetons, Schwabacher Landing. This place is one of my absolute favorite locations. Even though we missed a lot of the colorful leaves for their proposal engagement session, you really can’t go wrong with the pops of color, evergreen trees, and River running through your view.
He wasn’t super worried about it being some crazy surprise and me needing to hide. So when they arrived at the location I introduced myself and directed them to a great location for the proposal. We took a few photos and then Chris dropped to one knee and expressed his love for Sarah. It was a beautiful and touching moment with both of them! Afterwards, I gave them some moments to soak it all in before continuing with their Schwabacher Landing engagement photos. They ended their photo session with a champagne toast before heading to dinner in town.
Sometimes things just fall together for the better! Are you planning to propose on your trip to the Tetons? I’d love to be your photographer! Reach out using my contact form here and we’ll get all the details arranged.
