There’s something magical about photographing couples in places that hold deep meaning to them. When Tessie and Arturo reached out about their engagement session in Yellowstone National Park, I knew we were in for something special.  As a Tetons and Yellowstone engagement photographer, I’ve witnessed countless love stories unfold in the west.

A Yellowstone Engagement Photographer’s Dream Session

We began our adventure at the historic Old Faithful Inn. This landmark is as timeless as the love these two share. From there, we wandered through the Upper Geyser Basin Trail, making our way down to the impressive Castle Geyser.

This wasn’t just a beautiful location. In fact, it was the very place where Arturo got down on one knee and asked Tessie to be his forever. Returning to this spot for their engagement photos added an emotional layer that made every shot meaningful.

Next, we crossed the bridge over the Firehole River, where the water rushed beneath us. Then we continued exploring the geysers and colorful hot springs that make this area so otherworldly. Meanwhile, the steam rising from the earth created an ethereal atmosphere, perfect for intimate moments between the couple.

Capturing Romantic Moments

The best part? We got to witness Old Faithful erupt in the distance. It was a powerful reminder of nature’s beauty and timing, much like the journey that brought Tessie and Arturo together. Their joy was contagious as they laughed and embraced. They simply enjoyed being present in a place that holds such a special spot in their hearts.
