Chris and Maddie’s mountain engagement session in the Tetons captured their love story after their Labor Day weekend engagement at Mesa Falls. When they reached out about scheduling their session later in the fall, my calendar was packed, but we made it work with a mid-afternoon time slot.
Schwabacher Landing provided the backdrop for their session on a warm September day. The fall colors blazed in bold yellows against the iconic Teton peaks, creating a stunning natural canvas. Despite the heat, Chris and Maddie wore their chosen outfits. Maddie in a cream-colored hooded sweater and Chris in a brown and white plaid button-up. Both wore jeans, which suited the relaxed atmosphere.
The warmth of the day matched the warmth between these two. Watching them interact came naturally—they were playful, affectionate, and themselves. We explored various poses throughout the location: standing shots with the mountains behind them, seated moments on a rustic bench, casual leans against a buckrail fence, and plenty of sweet kisses that showcased their connection.
Their mountain engagement session gave us a beautiful variety of images. We balanced posed portraits with candid, playful moments that revealed their personalities. We secured that essential “money shot”, both looking at the camera with genuine smiles for their engagement announcement. The quick turnaround they needed was no problem, and they left with a gallery that told their love story.
Ready to plan your own adventure? Whether you’re dreaming of mountain views or another stunning location, I’d love to capture your engagement story. Inquire today to book your session and let’s create images you’ll treasure forever!
