Like so many of my couples, Amanda and Jacob met online! I love that this has become a common theme and that people who might never have had the opportunity to met can find each other. They dated for 9 months before getting engaged and are now married! Jacob’s cousin, Lanae, referred them to me and she owns one of the yummiest cake shops, Paisley Cakes! His favorite show is How I Met Your Mother and she likes Last Man Standing. He works for a farmer and she’s finishing up her college degree. They both grew up in the west, her in Oregon and him in Idaho. They love to do outdoor activities together, especially snowmobiling!

Location Hopping in Jackson Hole

We met in Jackson Hole for engagement photos and started our session off in the park. When we have the time, one of my favorite things to do with my clients is to location hop. So in this one session we stopped at five different locations that were close to each other! These turned out to be some of my favorite engagements of 2019. I love being in the Tetons for engagement sessions. One of my favorite new places is where we get this gorgeous Cathedral view of the Tetons. Then we went to one of several lakes and the crystal clear water is incredible! I was surprised to see swimmers there so late in the season!

I always get questions on top recommendations for engagement sessions. I always encourage my couples to bring more than one outfit! This allows them to mix it up and choose outfits that are both casual and formal. And something I absolutely love is dresses on the ladies!
