Amanda and Daniel were my first wedding of 2020! Wedding season was supposed to start much earlier, but due to Covid-19 the majority of spring and early summer weddings were postponed throughout the nation. I was so thrilled that Amanda and Daniel were able to have their wedding as planned in Grand Teton National Park. Their summer micro wedding in the Tetons was absolutely perfect.
The bride and groom got ready at a rustic house in Driggs, Idaho. They did not want to see each other until the ceremony, so the bride got ready in the basement with all of her girls. And, the groom got ready in the upstairs with the boys. We had to be sneaky taking the wedding dress outside for some detail shots before the bride got into it! Amanda wrote their names and their wedding date on the bottom of her sandals! Her beautiful flowers were from The Flower Market at MD. Her dress was from An Affair to Remember, hair by Katie Miller and makeup by Jaime Shippen.
When we got to the ceremony site, Amanda had a first look with her dad, and then did a first look with Daniel. Their intimate and religious wedding ceremony was performed by pastor Ray McDaniel. The bride and groom had their two sons, daughter, Amanda’s best friend, and Amanda’s sister stand up with them.
Amanda and Daniel wanted to make the best of their time at Grand Teton National Park. After their ceremony, we took photos in several different locations in and around the park. We had beautiful weather for their event and got to see the peaks of the Tetons! I am so thankful for such an amazing wedding to kickstart the craziest wedding season I’ve ever experienced!
