The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Katelyn and Nic were so much fun to work with on this style elopement. Something that I really wanted to do was show off the bride’s tattoos. I found this dress on Lulu’s for $100 and became instantly obsessed with it. I knew it would be perfect for Katelyn and I was right! She fit into this dress so beautifully and it allowed us to show off her gorgeous tattoos. The drop down beaded sleeves perfectly showcased her ‘queen bee’ flower tattoo. They also left the rest of her arm bare to show off her tattoo sleeve.
I also knew that Nic would be a great fit for this more wild and free elopement that we wanted to represent. His long hair, bright smile, and great chemistry with Katelyn was perfect. I feel like these two could be on the cover of a romance novel! They’ve actually been married for several years and have a beautiful family together. I love using real couples for our style elopements because they bring their real chemistry with them.
Hair for both the bride and groom was styled by Laurel Mae Coburn. Bridal makeup by Jaime Shippen. Bridal accessories from Claire’s. Emily from Fancy with Floral put together the silk bouquet. Tree light strings from Wedding and Party Exchange. Photography by Janelle & Co Photography.
