I was honored to be able to trade family photos in Jackson Hole with my friend Lizzy and her family. I had a fall wedding in Jackson Hole that she was my assistant photographer for. While we were out having fun with the bride and groom, the boys watched the kids and hung out at our hotel. The next day we got up and had our family photos together!
Because we’re both photographers, we’re able to trade the raw files with each other and edit them the way that matches our styles and preferences. Lizzy and I have pretty close editing styles and preferences. But there are a few things that differ. So, it’s just nice for us to be able to have exactly what we want on our wall. We’ve both been wanting family photos in Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park for awhile now. I’m so happy we finally do!
The weather was crazy all day and we had some pretty interesting lighting situations. But, if there’s one thing less predictable than the weather in Wyoming, it’s a toddler. Their little girl did not want to have much to do with family photos. But, I am still so thrilled with the giggles and laugh so we got out of her and even the grumpy faces! I also didn’t realize how much of a sucker I was for hats during pictures, but Lizzy and Sean totally rocked them. We need to have a lot more couples that wear hats for some point of their pictures! I like this trend!
