Kais and Zenobia have been together for about 5 years, but they have known each other for pretty much their entire lives. They are newly engaged after an epic Wedding Tree proposal! Kais contacted me back in December about planning his surprise proposal. They were originally going to come to Jackson Hole in March, but ended up shifting the time frame to June. Honestly, I think it worked out so much better!
I had several phone calls with Kais to plan out what he wanted to do for the proposal. We debated several different locations and ideas within Grand Teton National Park. And we ended up planning a really amazing setup at Wedding Tree, which would not have been as easy or picturesque in the winter. He choose to have us set up a picnic blanket with pillows. He ordered two food boxes from Jackson Hole Charcuterie, which were so tasty! I rented and picked up “Marry Me” marquee lights from Wedding and Party Exchange in Shelley, Idaho. Crystal has so many amazing things in her shop that just help everything can come together.
Then, he also emailed me a link to a Google photo album, and I printed out about 40 pictures of them two. My husband helped me to stream Einstein lights from the branch and trunk of one of the wedding trees. Then, we clothes pinned the photos to the light strands. Luckily my husband had thought to bring some electrical tape. The wind was picking up those photos and taking them right off of the clothespins! So, we taped the photos to the light strands and then put the clothes pins on for aesthetic value. This creative photo display was one of my favorite parts of the Wedding Tree proposal.
This proposal just really made my heart full! It was just really so perfect and I can’t even put into words how amazing it was to watch these two be so excited about getting married! Congratulations Kais and Zenobia on your engagement! Thank you so much for letting me be a part of capturing this beautiful day for you.
While each proposal is so special, this one I really just felt so connected to because there are all these extra elements that we were able to do for it. It was so special to be a part of the planning process for him and helping it all come together. That is part of the magic of hiring a photographer to document the proposal. We come with an arsenal of other vendors ready to help make your day perfect!
