I had the opportunity to work with Mariah and Zak at the beginning of May. They have been married for 6 years and were celebrating their anniversary the day we took photos! They wanted to update their pictures with some outdoor anniversary photos. I love when couples choose to have their life professionally documented! You and your spouse change in 6 years of marriage! Rigby Anniversary Photos

These two drove all the way from Blackfoot for our photo session in Rigby. After sending them several different location options, they chose this really cool black rock and dirt wall area. It’s out in the Rigby, Idaho countryside. It’s a location that I found several years ago and have used for a family session, and senior pictures here and there in previous years. It was fun to get to go back this year!

Outfit Ideas for Outdoor Locations

The lighting was beautiful and these two were just a lot of fun to work with. They weren’t afraid of a little bit of PDA and we had fun doing a mix of both posed and more candid photos with the two of them. I really loved their outfit choices because I felt like it represented them. They coordinated really well together, and it looked amazing against the landscape as well. I also think that their outfits just complimented their complexions and were a nice contrast to the colors in the backdrop.

There are multiple things that contribute to how you feel about your photos. Your experience during your photoshoot, and the clothing you wear, are both big factors. Ultimately choosing clothing that represents who you are, clothing that you’re comfortable in, and you feel confident in, is the best thing that you can do for your photoshoot!
