Lauren contacted me about photographing their baby moon photos while visiting Jackson Hole. We chose Schwabacher’s Landing for their maternity portraits. These are some of my favorite photos to document for people because it is signifying such a major change that is about to happen in their lives. I think it’s so wonderful that couples take the time to escape from their everyday life and go on a trip, especially to celebrate their new roles as mothers and fathers.

Babymoon Outfit Ideas

I loved both of the outfits that Lauren chose for their photos. The green velvet dress was especially elegant and flattering. I just felt like it was a soft enough color that it stood out from the other greens in the backdrop. But, it didn’t contrast in an inorganic way. Her beautiful maroon dress was a great second outfit choice. It added color and meshed with the golden hour colors on the mountain peaks.

I love it when couples are adventurous and willing to get their feet wet in the water. It’s not always an easy feat to do because that water is ice cold! But when couples are willing to it is just such a fun way to end the evening! These babymoon maternity portraits at Schwabacher’s Landing turned out to be some of my favorite maternity pictures I’ve ever taken!
