Jake and Michelle got engaged at Schwabacher’s Landing in a Grand Teton National Park proposal. My husband joined me for this photoshoot and took a few cell phone photos for them right before he popped the question. When the time was right, Jake got down on one knee and asked Michelle to marry him! She of course said, “yes” and it was such a beautiful moment to witness. I loved being a part of this proposal at Schwabacher’s Landing!
With just a few days to explore Jackson Hole, these two fit in a lot of activities, one of which was an ATV ride through the forest. Choosing the right time on your trip to propose can be difficult. It’s hard to keep everything a surprise! Most of my clients have proposed in the middle of their trip. This gives them a chance to make sure the location they wanted to use for the proposal is perfect. It also allows the couple to soak in all the feelings for a few days before returning to life outside of vacation!
After the proposal and some engagement photos at Schwabacher’s Landing, we headed to Mormon Row. We spent only about 10 minutes there at the end of the session. But it gave us a great rustic vibe for a handful of photos! When couples schedule a longer photoshoot, we’re able to do more than one location, and outfit change if they like. This gives the couple more options to choose from when it comes time to send out save the dates and wedding announcements!
