The blog is a collection of wedding and elopement highlights sharing your beautiful stories. It also includes wedding planning tips and inspiration.
Allie and Ian had a romantic destination elopement in Jackson Hole. With just the two of them, it was a beautiful setting to share vows with each other. Just over a year later, they celebrated with a small group of family and friends in their Southern California Wedding. I love that more couples are choosing to elope in a private ceremony, and then celebrate again with everyone!
Held at a private residence in California, their ceremony and reception were fun and all them! For the occasion, they chose to get new wedding apparel. Her dress from Prevue Bridal, his suit from Suit Supply. These two had an all out celebration, with wedding planner, DJ, videographer, makeup and hair styling, catering and desserts, and fall florals. My favorite addition was The Swig Rig (now known as The Watering Haul). This mobile bar service was such a hit with the guests, plus it made for adorable photos.
For their Southern California Wedding, the couple and their guests celebrated with a backyard ceremony. Their officiant, Heidi with Love Story Vows gave an incredible wedding ceremony. She asked the couple to fill out a questionnaire about their relationship and shared some of their answers during the ceremony. It was both hilarious and heartfelt. Before their wedding, the bride did a first look with her dad, and with the groom. Then the groom proposed again and gave the bride a wedding ring that complimented her band. It was such a fun surprise!
As part of their wedding ceremony, their mothers poured dirt into the tree base together, and then Allie and Ian added water with a watering can. I loved all of the symbolism of this beautiful moment!
