Jodie & Rodney had an intimate Wedding Tree Micro-Wedding. Before their ceremony, Jodie shared a first look with her father. It was one of my favorite moments of the day! With their family by their side, they shared their vows in the Bridger-Teton National Forest.

“Wedding Tree” Micro-Wedding

The Wedding Tree is located in Kelly, Wyoming on the outskirts of Jackson Hole. This location is the perfect choice for couples who want seclusion and privacy in the outdoors. You don’t have to compromise the views of the mountains either! After parking, you follow a short trail to the ceremony site. Gorgeous views of the Tetons are nestled between two old trees that once formed what looked like a heart shape. Their ceremony was short and sweet and they celebrated with a champagne toast afterwards! When they sprayed the champagne, the wind was blowing and blew champagne into Rodney’s eyes. It was a picture worthy moment!

After their ceremony, the couple headed to Schwabacher’s Landing for bridal portraits. This location is ideal for couples and small families as it can get more crowded. As a Jackson Hole Wedding Photographer, it is one of the most requested spots in the park from my clients. It has the beautiful Snake River flowing through it, has frequent wildlife sightings, and magnificent views of the Tetons.

Including Your Children in Your Wedding

Including your children in your wedding ceremony can be a beautiful and meaningful way to honor the importance of family in your life. Whether you choose to include them in the ceremony itself or make them part of the bridal party, you can find creative ways to make your celebration of love involve your whole family. If you’d like to give them a special role, you might also consider having them hand you the rings as part of the ceremony.
