Outdoor Winter Styled Wedding

Gracie and Nathan were so cute and I loved the details in this styled outdoor wedding. I don’t often photograph winter weddings. They just are not that popular with my couples because 90% of the weddings I photograph are outdoor ceremonies. However, knowing I have a winter wedding coming up in December, I knew I wanted to take the opportunity to photograph several couples in this winter wonderland! Sometimes it surprises me just how beautiful Rexburg winters can be. These setups were intimate and romantic, my favorite kind of photoshoot.

The Tablescape Details

First, this tablescape was so beautiful. The styled shoot had a great vintage vibe. I have come to love gold more and more in the last year and it’s becoming a fast favorite of mine when used as an accent. I loved the deep and rich colors of blue and burgundy that just made all the details stand out. The floral cake was made by Paisley Cakes out of Blackfoot, ID. If I redid my wedding cake, I would definitely have something like it for my own! The Geode cake was designed by Sugar Shell out of Shelley, ID. I love the gold foiling detail on it! Next, decorations by Wedding and Party Exchange tied it all together and the calligraphy menu and name tags by Sunflowers and Stitches were the perfect addition. The whole set up was sophisticated and classy with just that hint of edge.

The Bride’s Wedding Vendors

Among my highly recommended wedding professionals is Kellie Stolworthy. She can be a little sassy (girl you know I love it!), and I feel like her work and talent supersedes many I’ve worked with. Honestly, she is the best makeup artist out there and she did the makeup for bride Gracie. Gracie’s hair was done by Brooke Scherf and it was so nice to see the work of a hair stylist I feel like I can recommend to my brides! The bride’s gorgeous dress was provided by Circle of Love.
