Yesenya & Danny modeled for the Jackson Photography Retreat I hosted at the end of September. We had so many gorgeous vendors as part of this styled shoot! The couple brought their own clothing (hello stylish!), but Florals and Makeup were provided by our amazing vendors linked below. They included their rescue pups too and Shania made the most adorable floral collars for them. These alpine views and lakes are just freaking amazing and are my favorite place in the whole world (except maybe the beaches of Thailand).

If you’re not familiar with styled shoots, you might wonder, “Why are these a thing??”. Here’s why I love and participate in styled shoots. It’s always important for me as a photographer to be learning new skills, trying new things, and making connections with other wedding professionals! Making these connections is super handy in helping them feel confident in referring me to their brides, and vice versa. And that is why I love styled shoots! It gives us free space without client expectations to create how we want to. These shoots show off the creative work of other wedding pros and allows me to create new content to share with my followers that is targeted more towards my ideal clients – adventurous, romantic, fun couples!
